Develop your linen womenswear collection with Tuer Garment in Guangzhou, China. We support fashion brands with fabric sourcing, patterns, samples and bulk production for linen tops, bottoms and dresses, working from your designs and specifications.
Linen Apparel Developed Around Your Brand
A linen collection needs a clear brief for both the fabric and the finished garment. Share the silhouettes, intended fit and finish you want to achieve. We review these requirements through sourcing, pattern development and sample feedback before confirming bulk production.
Composition, Weight and Drape
Tell us whether your brief calls for 100% linen or a linen blend, along with the target weight, hand feel, colour and price level. We can review sourcing options against those requirements. Confirm the selected material and composition before sample approval rather than choosing from photographs alone.
Coverage, Opacity and Lining
For light colours, dresses and loose silhouettes, include your opacity and lining requirements in the brief. Review the actual sample in the intended colour, checking coverage, seam appearance, pocket visibility and comfort. Agree lining coverage and construction details for each style.
Pre-treatment, Washing and Measurements
Specify the intended care method and any requested fabric pre-treatment or garment wash. Discuss the relevant dimensional-change checks, measurement tolerances and test requirements before production. A single shrinkage percentage should not be assumed for every fabric, colour and finish; agree the requirements for the selected material.
Finishing and Brand Presentation
Include your requirements for hems, seams, buttons, zips, labels and packaging. During sample review, record any changes to fit, construction or finish so the production brief reflects the approved design.

Linen Washing, Finishing and Sewing Options
We can arrange the following processes for suitable linen projects. The treatment route, cost and schedule are confirmed for the selected fabric and approved sample, including any specialist processing required.
- Mechanical pre-shrinking: fabric preparation before cutting, with dimensional-change requirements agreed for the selected material.
- Enzyme washing and sand washing: options for developing a softer or washed appearance. Approve the actual colour, surface and hand feel on a trial sample.
- Enzyme softening and airflow mechanical finishing: alternative approaches to hand-feel development, selected according to the fabric and desired result.
- Easy-care and liquid-ammonia finishing: options for suitable fabrics where improved crease recovery is part of the brief. The finishing stage and performance requirements are agreed after material review; a wrinkle-free result is not assumed.
- Cutting preparation: fabric relaxation, appropriate lay height, and stripe or check matching where the design requires it. Preparation time and layout are set for the fabric and style.
- Seam construction: French seams, bound seams and reinforcement at selected stress points. Needle, thread and stitch settings are established through sewing trials for the actual fabric.
- Pressing and shaping: steam pressing and finishing to the agreed appearance, whether the brief calls for a cleaner finish or a more relaxed linen texture.
Custom Printing on Linen
We can arrange reactive digital printing, pigment digital printing, flat-screen or rotary-screen printing, and discharge printing, subject to fabric and design suitability.
- Reactive digital printing: an option for detailed, multi-colour artwork on suitable linen fabrics. Colour, hand feel and fastness requirements are confirmed through print trials and the agreed fixation and wash-off route.
- Pigment digital printing: review ink coverage, binder and curing requirements against the desired hand feel and wash and rubbing performance. The route differs from reactive printing and does not automatically require the same wet post-treatment.
- Flat-screen and rotary-screen printing: assess artwork repeat, colour count, set-up cost and production volume. Printing minimums are quoted for the design and fabric rather than assumed from garment MOQ.
- Discharge printing: assess the compatibility of the dyed ground and discharge system first. Approve a strike-off before committing to the colour effect and production route.
Print Approval and Quality Requirements
Send the artwork, repeat size, colour references and any placement specifications. We review fabric preparation, including surface preparation where needed, then use a strike-off to assess colour, fine detail around linen slubs, coverage, penetration and hand feel. For placement prints, agree artwork position, tolerances and dimensional-change allowances with the pattern and cutting plan.
Specify required wash and rubbing fastness, care method and testing requirements before quotation. Any softening or post-wash treatment must be compatible with the print system and checked against the approved sample; performance is not assumed to be identical across every linen fabric.
MOQ, Sizes and Production Schedule
- One colour per style: 200 pieces minimum.
- Two or more colours per style: 150 pieces per colour; two colours require at least 300 pieces in total.
- Sizes: up to four sizes when the MOQ is met. You choose the quantity per size; additional sizes are agreed separately.
- Samples: 10–15 working days after all sample details are confirmed.
- First bulk order: 30–45 working days after order details and styles are confirmed, the deposit is received and fabric is ready.

Custom materials, colours and treatments may have additional minimums. Sample development and shipping time are separate from bulk production.

Linen Clothing Manufacturing FAQs
Can I develop linen tops, bottoms and dresses together?
Yes. We can review these categories as part of your collection. The MOQ applies to each style and colour plan, so different styles do not combine into one minimum. Explore linen tops, linen bottoms and linen dresses.
Can you source 100% linen or linen-blend fabrics?
Send the composition, weight, colour and finish you want. We review sourcing options and confirm availability, material minimums and the selected specification before development. Availability of a particular fabric or colour is confirmed for each project.
How should shrinkage and care requirements be agreed?
Provide your intended care instructions and any required test method or tolerance. Ask us to confirm the pre-treatment, sample checks and testing scope for the selected fabric before approval. Record the agreed requirements in the production specification.
Can you source European Flax™ certified linen fabrics?
Yes. We can source linen fabric options supplied with European Flax™ certification documentation. The programme is now named Masters of FLAX FIBRE™. Tell us your required composition, weight and colour so availability and supporting supplier documents can be confirmed for the selected fabric.
This is a material-sourcing option. A certified fabric does not automatically make the finished garment certified: product claims and labelling depend on the applicable chain-of-custody requirements. See the certification programme information.
