Tuer Garment coordinates custom women’s knitwear and sweater development from Guangzhou, with production at a specialist knitwear factory in Dongguan, China, in which Tuer Garment is one of the shareholders. Bring your designs for yarn selection, knit sampling, fit review and bulk production.
Develop Knitwear from Yarn and Swatch to Garment
Knitwear development starts with the relationship between yarn, stitch structure and garment shape. Tuer Garment holds an equity stake in a specialist knitwear factory in Dongguan. We work with the factory team to review those choices against your brand’s designs, quantities and target budget.
Yarn, Colour and Hand Feel
Specify the required fibre composition, colour references, weight and hand feel. Send a yarn or garment reference where available. We review sourcing options and yarn minimums for the project. Any certified or traceable material claim needs supporting documents for the selected material and supply chain.
Stitch Structure and Knit Samples
Provide the desired texture, pattern, stitch reference and gauge where known. The suitable yarn, gauge and structure are reviewed with the factory team. Agree a swatch or development sample for appearance, density and hand feel before finalising the garment specification.
Shape, Assembly and Finishing
Confirm body and sleeve length, chest width, shoulder shape, ease, neckline, cuffs, hem and any button or zip details. Review the sample’s seams or linking, edge finish and garment balance. Washing, drying, pressing or other finishing requirements are agreed for the selected yarn and construction.
Measurements and Quality Requirements
Agree how finished measurements are taken and the tolerances to be used. Review dimensions, appearance, seams, trims and packing against the approved specification. If your market or collection needs pilling, dimensional-change, colourfastness or other tests, specify the method and required result so feasibility, timing and cost can be confirmed.
Certified Material Options and Supplier Audit Documents
The knitwear factory in which Tuer Garment holds an equity stake holds GRS, RWS and GOTS scope certificates for covered products and activities. Relevant recycled, responsible wool and organic material options can be reviewed for your collection. Before confirming a certified order or product claim, we check the current certificate scope, selected composition, supply-chain requirements and applicable transaction documentation.
The factory can also provide SMETA 4-pillar and amfori BSCI social audit documentation for buyer review, subject to the supplier’s disclosure arrangements. These reports relate to the factory’s audited site and are separate from product certification and garment quality testing. Please include your brand’s sourcing and compliance requirements in the project brief.
