Plan Your Custom Dress Production

Our dress manufacturing service is built around your brand’s collection, from initial development through cutting, sewing, quality checks and packing. Define the silhouette, fabric, fit and finishing requirements before sampling so we can review the project together.

• One colour per style: minimum 200 pieces.
• Two or more colours per style: minimum 150 pieces per colour. Two colours require at least 300 pieces in total.
• Size breakdown: up to four sizes when the MOQ is met. You decide the quantity per size; additional sizes are agreed separately.
• Samples: 10–15 working days after all sample details are confirmed.
• First bulk order: 30–45 working days after order details and styles are confirmed, the deposit is received and fabric is ready.

Sampling and shipping time are separate from bulk production. Custom materials and treatments may have additional minimums; we confirm these for your project.

Develop the Details That Define Your Dress

Fabric, Drape and Lining

Share the intended fabric composition, weight, colour or print, together with the silhouette you want to achieve. We support fabric and trims sourcing. For lined styles, specify coverage and lining requirements so the sample can be reviewed for drape, opacity and comfort.

Pattern, Fit and Size Development

Provide your tech pack, measurement chart or reference sample when available. Highlight the fit points that matter to your design, such as neckline, bust, waist, hip, sleeve and dress length. Sample feedback helps establish the measurements and construction details to approve before bulk production.

Construction, Finishing and Brand Details

Include requirements for seams, hems, closures, trims, labels and packaging in your brief. We review the production requirements against your design and sample feedback. Discuss any required product tests or inspection specifications at the quotation stage so their scope can be confirmed.

From Design Brief to Bulk Production

1. Review the brief. Send designs, fabric preferences, colour quantities, size breakdown and target delivery date. We review feasibility and prepare a project-specific quotation.
2. Develop the sample. Confirm sample details, develop the pattern and sample, and review fit and construction together.
3. Confirm production requirements. Agree the sample, specifications, materials and order details before production is scheduled.
4. Produce and check. Cutting, sewing and quality checks follow the agreed requirements, followed by packing and shipping arrangements.

Custom Dress Manufacturing FAQs

Can I order one dress style in several colours and sizes?

Yes. For one colour, the minimum is 200 pieces per style. For two or more colours, it is 150 pieces per colour, per style. Once the MOQ is met, you can split the order across up to four sizes and choose the quantity for each size. Please discuss more than four sizes with us in advance.

How long do dress samples and production take?

Samples take 10–15 working days after all sample details are confirmed. First-order bulk production takes 30–45 working days after order details and styles are confirmed, the deposit is received and fabric is ready. Repeat orders usually take 15–30 working days, depending on quantity. We confirm each order’s schedule; shipping time is additional.

What should I send for a custom dress quotation?

Send your design or reference images, available tech pack or measurements, fabric and lining preferences, colour quantities, size breakdown, trims, labels and packing requirements. Include your brand website, target delivery date and destination country. A target budget helps us review suitable material and construction options; the quotation depends on the confirmed design and quantities.

Can you help if my tech pack is not complete?

Share what you have, such as sketches, reference samples and key measurements. We can review the missing details with you through design consultation and pattern and sample development. Construction and fit requirements still need to be confirmed before production.

Where are the dresses produced?

Our main womenswear production is in Guangzhou, China, with additional production capacity in Ganzhou, Jiangxi. Tuer Garment is also one of the shareholders in a specialist denim factory in Foshan and a specialist knitwear factory in Dongguan. We can discuss the production arrangement for your particular dress style.
