Develop denim dresses from your own designs, with fabric, fit and wash reviewed as one project. TUER coordinates development and production with a specialist Foshan denim factory in which we hold an equity stake.
Denim Dress Development for Fashion Brands
A shirt dress, fitted dress and relaxed silhouette place different demands on denim. Define bust, waist, hip and finished length, plus ease, sleeve shape and closure placement. Review fabric weight and hand feel against the movement and structure your design needs.
The gallery below provides style and detail references. Your order is developed from your own brief and approved samples. See our denim manufacturing overview for the wider process and factory audit-documentation scope.
Plan Your Denim Dress Production
Silhouette, Movement & Coverage
Include the intended fit at the bust, waist and hip and the room needed for sitting and walking. Specify hem shape, vents or slits, sleeve length and neckline. Where relevant, review lining or facing requirements and how the garment works with your planned underlayers.
Closures, Seams & Finished Wash
Detail button spacing, zip placement, pocket position, topstitching and stress points. For button-front styles, check opening and coverage on the fit sample. Approve the chosen wash together with finished length and measurements, because the finished garment is the standard for production.
MOQ, Sizes & Working-Day Lead Times
- One colour: 200 pieces per style. Two or more colours: 150 pieces per colour, per style. Different styles cannot be combined.
- Up to four sizes at the MOQ, with quantities per size chosen by your brand. Additional sizes and custom material or trim minimums are agreed separately.
- Samples: 10–15 working days after details are confirmed. First bulk orders: 30–45 working days after order details and styles are confirmed, deposit is received and fabric is ready. Repeat orders: usually 15–30 working days, depending on quantity.
Confirm the schedule for your project; sampling and shipping are separate from bulk production. Review our manufacturing FAQs and development services.
Denim Dress Manufacturing FAQs
Can you develop a denim dress from a reference?
Send your reference with sketches or a tech pack, measurements and the changes you want. We review the construction and fabric before preparing a sample for approval.
How do we choose the right denim weight?
Share the desired drape, structure and intended use. Fabric options are reviewed for the design, and the selected material is assessed through a sample rather than by weight alone.
Can the dress include custom closures and labels?
Yes, these can be included in the brief. Confirm artwork, finish, placement and supplier minimums, then approve their appearance and function on the sample.
