Moving a womenswear design into production requires more than selecting a factory. The brief, materials, sample and order instructions must agree before cutting and sewing begin.

This guide explains the decisions and records that connect each stage of a TUER project. It gives a practical workflow for fashion brands planning production in Guangzhou, with timing based on confirmed order conditions.

1. Turn the Concept Into a Development Brief

Share the garment category, drawings or tech pack, intended fit and quality details. Include fabric preferences, colourways, proposed quantities, size range, destination and required delivery date. Mark the areas that still need development.

Clarify responsibility for fabric sourcing, patterns, samples, labels and packaging. TUER’s main womenswear production is based in Guangzhou, with additional capacity in Ganzhou. Specialist denim and knitwear production involves factories in Foshan and Dongguan in which TUER is one of the shareholders. Confirm the proposed production route for your category.

2. Develop Materials, Patterns and Samples

Record fabric and trim references before approving a sample. Review colour, weight, texture and finish alongside construction and fit. Where materials are provisional, keep that status visible in the quotation and sample comments.

Review the sample against measurement points and tolerances, wearing comfort, coverage, internal seams and closures. Consolidate feedback into one dated revision list. If material or construction changes, decide whether another sample or trial is required.

TUER samples normally take 10–15 working days after all sample details are confirmed. Review and revision time should also be allowed in your development calendar. Browse dresses, blazers and tops for category-specific development points.

3. Confirm the Bulk Production File

Before production, align the approved sample, latest tech pack, fabric and trim references, quantities, size breakdown, artwork, labels and packaging. Ensure the quotation reflects that same version.

  • Identify the person authorised to approve a change.
  • Record quality checks, acceptance criteria and any agreed test method.
  • Confirm what is ready and which materials remain outstanding.
  • Agree progress milestones and the production schedule.

TUER’s standard MOQ is 200 pieces per style in a single colour, or 150 pieces per colour for a style in two or more colours. Up to four sizes can be included when MOQ is met. Different styles cannot be combined to meet a single style’s minimum.

4. Follow Production, Inspection and Packing

Keep approved instructions available through cutting, sewing and finishing. Material or construction substitutions need review; they should not be treated as equivalent without approval.

Compare checks against the actual order criteria, including dimensions, appearance, workmanship, labels and packaging. Agree how issues will be documented and resolved. Read the quality assurance overview and packing and shipping stage.

First bulk production normally takes 30–45 working days after order details and styles are confirmed, the deposit is received and fabric is ready. Repeat orders generally take 15–30 working days depending on quantity, with the schedule confirmed per order. These are production ranges; shipping is separate.

5. Prepare Shipment and Future Reorders

Confirm the final quantity breakdown, packing instructions, destination and transport plan. Keep the approved sample and specification records so a repeat order starts from a clear reference rather than memory.

For a reorder, reconfirm material availability, colour, sizes and any requested change. Do not assume a previous price or timetable still applies. The FAQs explain standard ordering details.

Send your collection brief to TUER to discuss the development scope and the information needed before scheduling.
